Stewart Earns Second Career WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week Honor

Stewart Averaged 23 Points, 8.5 Rebounds and Three Assists Last Week

SEATTLE (July 17) – For the second time in her career, Breanna Stewart has been named the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Stewart helped the Storm (9-10) to a 1-1 record last week. After she posted 22 points and eight rebounds in a setback to Connecticut on July 12, Stewart anchored a second-half comeback vs. Atlanta, tallying 24 points, nine boards and a career-high six assists on the way to a 90-84 triumph at KeyArena on Saturday night.
